Very rare, large and beautiful clock. (We’ve never seen one before). Similar to ship’s clocks, made of plated brass, which is mostly worn off with a beautiful patina. The bezel screws off, to wind and set the clock. Has fast & slow adjustment. The most interesting feature, we’ve never seen on one of these clocks, is the sweep seconds indication, with the long thin hand. Comes with a winding key. CHELSEA PRESENTATION DESK CLOCK
Gorgeous 3.75” Ø desk clock, dated 1969, which was a pres- entation piece with the engraving: Behr Century Club 1969 to Ronald A. Florance, on the brass base plate. (This could be polished out and re-engraved). Truly a beautiful piece, that runs so silently I couldn’t hear it on my desk two feet away! The clock swivels in the stand. CHELSEA DECK CLOCK
Wow, here’s a standard issue US Navy, 8-day ships clock with a black phenolic case. This clock is from the Vietnam era—just like one I stole off the USS Midway, while serving. This clock has the big sweep second hand, with fast-slow adjustment at “3”, and winding at “6”. The clock shows signs of much use, probably with dirty hands, but runs beautifully!
