CAN AND SALT-SHAKER
Vintage silverplate coffee can, with a salt-shaker, made by Mappin & Webb Ltd. We found these two orphans in the back of the warehouse and thought you might enjoy owning them. Holds about three cups. ANTIQUE ENGLISH TEA KETTLE
We found a bunch of these gorgeous, antique tea kettles in Britain a while back, and they finally made it to our shores. These were crafted back in the days when folks had wood or coal fired stoves. The bottoms of these kettles are slightly elliptical to fit securely onto the stove top. Made of heavy, solid brass, with lid and handle. COMIX Set of Three Misc We ran across a bunch of these color, Sunday’s newspaper comics, and couldn’t resist offering these rarities! Terrific stuff. (Hell, many of these newspapers have ceased to exist years ago — a real piece of history). A total mixed bag of Sunday funnies dating back to the early 1940’s. Here you have the very cool, Flash Gordon, Joe Palooka, Smilin’ Jack, Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Mandrake the Magician, and of course Lil’ Abner, along with others that were unknown to me. Funny how sexist and politi- cally incorrect much of this stuff is, on today’s terms. We just love this stuff, as I think you will too! Because these
