Cathletes OF THE YEAR AWARD
Saint Pope John Paul II said “Every Christian is called to become a strong athlete for Christ,
that is, a faithful and courageous witness to His Gospel”. Donovan Catholic has become a
national model as an exemplary chapter for The Catholic Athletes for Christ whose mission
is to serve Catholic athletes, known as “Cathletes”, and share the Gospel of Christ in and
through athletics. This award is given for Christ-like qualities in the areas of leadership,
courage in faith, and selflessness and service in the spirit of team.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT RECOGNITION
Each year we recognize our international students. These young men and women have had
the courage to leave their homelands to study at an American high school. They have graced
the senior class of Donovan Catholic with their presence.
