Introduction to Weight Training

This course is designed for students interested in learning how to properly begin a
strength training program. This course is for students enthusiastic about weight training
for strength, weight loss, weight gain, promoting a healthy life style and learning how to
safely and properly train with machines and free weights effectively. Classroom lectures
take place once monthly to educate students on the dangers of “fad” diets and a variety of
other health related issues.

       Strength & Conditioning

This course is designed for all students and student athletes who are serious about
improving their athletic performance. Students will train using Westside template and
Russian conjugate training methods. Students will be instructed on proper techniques of
strength training, ply metrics, and sports conditioning. Classroom lectures take place
twice monthly teaching the importance of pre and post game meals, protein and
carbohydrate intake, supplements, and preventative injury training.

    Elite Athletes Strength & Conditioning

  Senior level class that is geared for serious athletes who want to perfect their skills for
 preparation to participate at a collegiate athletic level. An additional component of this
  course of collegiate recruiting for students who hope to purse athletics at the collegiate

                         Women’s Fitness

This program is designed with cardiovascular and aerobic conditioning activities to
promote life-long wellness, healthy life styles, and realistic body images through
seminars, lectures and physical activities. Activities include but are not limited to
nutritional studies, basic first aid, yoga, tae bo, zumba, dance and recreational games.
