MARCH HIGHLIGHTS
Mrs. Gleinig (Kimberly Verwey Gleinig ‘08) and her
IB History class created an interactive timeline detailing
Canada and Latin America during and after WWI.
They used zoom to present their timelines which
ranged from prezi, Google Slides, poster boards,
visme.co, and Google Docs. Cooperative group
learning!
A few young women from Donovan's young
women's Bible study group met to pray and
to share their thoughts on this week's s
chapter entitled STORMS. Faith Scott ‘19,
home from Franciscan University, joined
the group, too.

Miss McGuckin (Emily McGuckin ‘13): Day 3 of Virtual
Learning! Each day brings about new challenges, but we work
through them as a community. I am so grateful to be able to
work with my Geometry students using this technology! I can
s hear them and see them, so we still get to enjoy our “classroom
setting” remotely! By sharing screens I can show them our
guided notes and we work together as one class. We are able to
work through the material while still being able to have great
conversation throughout our lessons. Donovan truly makes a
difference, especially during such unprecedented times!
Mr. Oliver’s AP Bio class taking
period. He stays online and
a test during their virtual class s
monitors their progress, just in
case they have any questions.
