Concert Band
Concert Band performs at the Christmas Concert, Spring Concert, Spaghetti Dinner, fundraisers and
various community events. Rehearsals are an extension of Band Class, and students receive a grade for
their participation. Members of the Band Class must attend the after school rehearsals. However,
students may participate in the Concert Band without enrolling in Band Class during the school day.
Concert Band is open to all students who play “Band or Orchestra” instruments.
Jazz/Rock Ensemble
An extension of the Concert Band, the Jazz/ Rock Ensemble is chosen through audition. This award-
winning group performs selected jazz and rock music and meetsWednesday evenings prior to Concert
Band.
Guitar Ensemble, Keyboard Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble
An extension of the Concert Band, the above ensembles consist of students who have previously played
guitar, keyboard, piano and drums.
