MONTHLY TOOLBOX MEETINGS
Monthly toolbox meetings:
This is a great time to get all the team together. We always have some drinks and nibbles ar- ranged. Not only is this where we implement new H&S policies or explain a new development. It is a great time for the team to connect with each other. They feel like they are part of a great team when the are all hanging out chatting and laughing.
We have standard topics we always refresh the team on like ladders, EWP, testing. Then we also use this to communicate any incident that occurred that month. What happened, who was in- volved, what could have been done better/safer. And what is the outcome. I like to get the fore- men involved and ask them to discuss the H&S on their site. This keeps the whole team aware of any possible issues on a site that they aren’t regularly on.
WIP:
work out what the monthly interaction will be like. Probably a collaborative sheet between both parties. What will they need io input and what will we.
