Additional service menu
At Huntleigh Apartments we want to make sure you’re really enjoying your retirement, so we offer a range of additional services for a small fee.
These services are available on a one-off, short or long-term basis.
Delicious meals
Enliven offers a meal service for lunch and dinner. These meals can be taken in the shared dining room or delivered to your apartment.
Favourite menu items include the traditional Sunday roasts, refreshing summer salads and delicious desserts. The menu changes regularly and is available from the village coordinator.
Laundry services
Our laundry service is available daily for both clothing and linen. Laundry bags are available on request. We are also able to provide a bed making service. These services are available on a fee-for- service basis.
Handyman services
At Huntleigh Apartments we take care of the property maintenance and grounds. But if you need additional assistance, such as hanging pictures or moving and securing furniture, our handyman service is available by request.
Tai Chi classes
Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise that combines deep breath and deliberate movements. Enliven’s modified Tai Chi classes have been adapted to suit people with mobility issues, arthritis, disabilities or movement restrictions. Classes are held in Karori and other Wellington suburbs weekly.
Continence product service
Did you know that one in four New Zealanders experience regular bladder or bowel control problems? If you’re experiencing continence issues, Enliven can help you manage them in a personalised and discreet way. We stock a wide range of competitively priced, quality-assured, reusable or disposable products.

Health Recovery Care
Enliven’s health recovery care, also known as convalescent care, provides older people with short-term hospital-level care. This service is perfect for people recovering from illness, injury or surgery.
