Sheds

Location

• The shed must be located in the rear yard and adjacent to a side privacy fence
between each townhome and on the property line.
• Sheds shall not be located against exterior house wall.

Size

• The Size of the shed must be appropriate for the size of the area where it is to be
located.
• In no case is the shed to be larger than six feet deep by eight feet long nor higher
than nine inches below the top of the adjacent fence.

Design and Construction
• Shed design should be simple and unobtrusive and should be constructed in a
workmanlike manner similar to approved cluster fence design.
• Shed roof should be pitched at 1:4 slope and shall be constructed of asphalt shingles
the same color and style as that of the townhome.
• Sheds should be screened by fencing or substantial landscaping.
• Free standing sheds are not allowed.
• Shed should integrate visually with the fence and finished matching materials and
colors.
