Cable Services NEW Facility in Wrexham
Cable Services Group are the UK’s leading Specialist Electrical Distributor. We stock and supply both cable and cable accessories to the domestic and international markets, sourced from a select number of leading product manufacturers from our UK locations. We have branches located in Glasgow, Liverpool, Wrexham,
Stone and Swindon, which helps us service our customers more efficiently.
We operate in several different markets which include: Utilities, Industrial Commercial, Power Generation & Transmission, Rail and the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical market.
Our strength is our stock holding as well as our close relationships with our partners which gives us the ability to source and deliver products to support customer projects.
We have a large product portfolio which is specifically designed for the rail infrastructure and have been supplying into the sector for a number of years. Our basket of rail products covers catenary, track side feeder stations, trackside connections and tooling for rail contractors. We can supply from our worldwide partners, PADS approved cable for signalling and power as well as joints and terminations for the rail network.
We work with a number of global suppliers which include Safetrack, PBwel, Henley, Prysmian Group, TE Connectivity who we can source products from to enable
us to offer a one stop shop solution to the rail market.
Safetrack Pin Brazing System
At Cable Services Group, we always look at providing solutions or problem solving to the industry. Safetrack Pin Brazing is a low temperature fast and reliable cable
bonding system. We offer training courses on the pin brazing system at both our training schools at Glasgow and Wrexham but can also do onsite demonstrations as an alternative with rail contractors.
Protectus – Divisible cable Protection
Protectus is an extremely strong divisible cable protection pipe, consisting of two halves that is easily lock safely with side-locks in different colours for different cable types. Protectus is made of recycled polypropylene and can be reused many times. After it’s lifetime it is 100% recyclable. They come in 1m lengths and are easily stacked on pallets for easy handling.
Next year marks the 50th anniversary of the Cable Service Group and we go into the year in our NEW purpose-built head office and distribution facility on Wrexham Industrial Estate.
