VEP Booklet
P. 1
In these pages, you will find our most recent cohort of Veteran Education Program students. These fine women and men completed 16 units of rigorous academic coursework. They have been admitted into Fresno State to complete the undergraduate degree of their choice. They are our youngest bulldogs, and they are fully prepared to succeed.
S
We also recognize some Veteran Education Program alumni, those leaving Fresno State having completed their baccalaureate degrees. We reintroduce you to graduates Karlton Brown, Aaron Schuleter, Anthony Soto, and to Jordan Cody who completed the Veterans Education Program a few years ago, graduated from Fresno State, and has now graduated from the McGeorge School of Law with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence.

POTLIGHT VETERANS EDUCATION PROGRAM
Each of these students walked through a door of opportunity opened by the Veterans Education Program, perhaps with hesitancy at first. Today, they stand steady with new confidence. Confidence that is born from a program designed to establish a protective culture of intellectual curiosity, where it is OK to fail, to grow, and to explore one’s potential with vulnerability.
It is here, in Fresno, where our veterans found the support to transition from a military culture to a culture of higher education. I send my congratulations to our students and my heartfelt thank you to our donors whose belief in their potential continues to unlock doors of opportunity.
Kind regards,
Scott D. Moore, Ph.D. Professor & Dean
