Angelina Fleischhacker-Ruiz

Angelina will be singing “El Hombre Que Yo Amo” by a Chilean singer named Myriam Hernandez which was popular all over Latin America when it was re- leased in 1988. The song contains Latin ballads and instrumental complexity. She wanted to represent a Latin country since her mum is from Chile.

Mariachi Orgullo de Fresno State
(Mexico)
Mariachi Orgullo de Fresno State is a course offered through Fresno State’s Depart- ment of Music that focuses on performance of traditional mariachi songs. The course meets once a week and is comprised of both undergraduate and graduate students. Fernando Flores is the interim director for the Fall 2023 semester; Dr. Donald Hen- riques is the Professor who usually directs the group.
Los Danzantes de Aztlán (Fresno State)

Los Danzantes de Aztlán is a unique undergraduate Mexican Dance
program founded in 1970 by Prof. Ernesto Martinez – a pioneer in Mexican folklórico in the Central Valley. Utilizing beZautiful, authentic costumes and precise dance execution, the vibrant Danzantes offer a spectacular and colorful expression of Mexican regional dances. The dance company has been a success with audiences wherever it has performed. Under the direction of Dr. Victor Torres since 1997, the troupe has consistently earned top awards in international folkloric dance competitions. Historically the company has performed in Spain, México, Texas, Nevada, and Washington. On three different occasions (2014, 2016, and 2018), the troupe performed in the nationally acclaimed San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival- a unique distinction in the Central Valley.
Daniela Deluich and Sergio Deluich
(Peru)
Marinera Norteña will be performed by Daniela Deluich and Sergio Deluich who are twins from Peru. Marinera is a typical dance par excellence and symbol of Peru, it has a very elaborate elegant, agile, happy, graceful and vibrant rhythm. This dance is best known on the northern coast of Peru. The origin of the marinera is a product of the cultural mix of the contributions of indigenous Spaniards and the important influence of African rhythms.
NuEra
(South Korea)
NuEra was formed by a group of friends who shared the same interests and love for K-Pop! They are a dance cover group that specializes in covering K-pop dances! NuEra is a K-pop dance cover group that has been active in the community for the past 11 years! They have performed at various events including the previous International Culture Night shows! NuEra will be performing KDA’s More. KDA’s ‘More,’ skillfully fuses South Korean, American and Chinese talent, reflecting the diverse essence of music and cultural symphony that transcends borders.
Arvin Agrawal will be performing Kathak - the dance of story telling of an Ancient Indian Classical art form rooting from northern part of India. Through Kathak dance, a dancer aims to surpass emotions, stories and religious beliefs and celebrations among its audience. It is presented wearing ghungroos - the rhythmic and beautiful ankle belts which joins the laya - speed of the dance and delivers the pleasant sound of music to audience. It showcases numerous footwork patterns, rounded and flowing hand move- ments paired with attention grabbing fast spins in kathak.

Darpan Attri will be singing a Hindi song called “Alag Aasmaan” while playing the guitar.

A mother and daughter duo performing a Bollywood Dance combing the rich texture of India’s many classical and folk dances, fused with elements of Jazz, Hip – Hop, Arabic and Latin Form.
Krishi Raman and Shreya Raman

Krishi Raman and Shreya Raman will be performing a semi classical dance that embodies grace and expressiveness.
Samhita Vaidya

Aaja Nachle is a captivating and expressive semi-classical dance form from India, performed and choreographed by Samhita Vaidya. The dance is known for its graceful and intricate movements that seamlessly blend classical Indian dance elements with a contemporary flair.
