MY FEELINGS DURING QUARANTINE

Since COVID-19 appeared in China and spread

around the world many countries have been
entering on a long time to quarantine. Now, when it

appeared in Colombia the government took the step
to shut down in quarantine the whole country.

Students, pensioners, old people and many day-
workers, have been in quarantine for more than

four months and a half. The first weeks of
quarantine for me were really normal. I took the

situation as if it was a long weekend or a small
vacation.

At first I keep on home with my two little brothers
because my mom is a nurse so she has to work

every day, so when she gets back at home we have
to disinfect everything that comes with her. After

that she has to get undress and put the clothes in a
special bag, and finally she has to take a long bath.

The first days were easy for me because I don’t go

out too much but now every day gets more stressful
cause I see the news and I just see more deaths,
more infected people and that is so f*#*ing

stressful. Sometimes I try to draw, or read
something but I just can’t. I thought that in
