In the event of an accident, Accident insurance will pay you a cash benefit for every covered circumstance-from x-rays to ambulance service-regardless of what is paid by your medical insurance. Benefits are paid directly to you and you are free to use them to cover whatever expenses you deem fit.
EXAMPLES OF BENEFITS
SCENARIO 1: Your child breaks their leg while playing baseball with their high school team. It’s a bad break and they are taken by ambulance to the hospital. If you have family accident coverage you could receive a check for up to $3,975.00 plus *20% Additional Organized Sports Benefit of $795.00.
This scenario includes payments for ambulance, er visit, surgical repair of leg fracture, MRI, Hospital Admission, Follow-up Dr. visits and physical Therapy.
SCENARIO 2: You are participating in your favorite hobby-CALF ROPING you get your leg caught in the stirrup and take a tumble off your horse, your hip is dislocated and needs surgical repair and you receive a laceration to your leg. If you have accident coverage you could receive a check for upto $6,625.00.
This scenario includes payments for ER visit, surgical repair of hip dislocation, MRI, Hospital Admission, Follow-up Dr. visit, physical Therapy and a laceration benefit.
