Our Chow Day in Exeter, RI at Delmyra Kennels is scheduled for Sunday, October 17th and all breeds are
welcome to attend. Planned events are a Match and Fun Classes with Kim Petrunia judging; Lure Coursing
run throughs and practice with Michele & Muffy Proxee supervising; and AKC Canine Good Citizen and
Trick Dog certification by Christine Johnson for all breeds with rosettes offered for everyone that passes.
Food and raffles will also be offered.
We are sponsoring one of the regional specialties in conjunction with the CCCI National on October 5-7
in Niagara Falls, NY. The judge will be Steve Sudduth from Boulder CO, who is a long time CCCI member,
breeder and exhibitor.

The 2021 Thanksgiving cluster at the Big E in West Springfield, MA will be November 26th through the
28th with our Supported Entry on Saturday, November 27th (Judge - TBD). Our Sweepstakes and Specialty
will be on Sunday,November 28th. The Sweepstakes judge is Cindy Attinello from New Jersey, a long time
Chow exhibitor and the Specialty judge is Robert Hutton. The Specialty will be dedicated in memory of long
time member Scott Gordon of Delmyra Kennels. There will be Hospitality Bags and if Covid-19 restrictions
permit, a Chow grooming area, and a ring side brunch on the day of the Specialty. There will also be a
Banquet on the evening of November 27th. The Specialty Chairperson is Kip Kopatch (teabearchin@gmail.
com), Hospitality and Banquet Chairperson is Linda Gardiner (lindagredchow@hotmail.com) and the
Superintendent is MB-F.

Welcome to sunny, warm Florida! Yes, it’s that time of year again.
The NFCCC will once again hold our annual Independent Specialty in conjunction with
the week-long event of dog shows and the AKC/Royal Canin National Championship
Show in Orlando, Florida. Our Independent Specialty will be held on Friday, December 17,
2021 at the Orange County Convention Center

Judging Junior Showmanship and Regular Classes will be breeder/judge Ms. JoAnne
Schullier.

There will be three all-breed shows during the week in the same location on December 14,
15, 16: The Space Coast Kennel Club, The Brevard Kennel Club, and the Central Florida
Kennel Club.
The AKC/Royal Canin All-Breed National Championship Show will be held on Saturday
and Sunday, December 18 & 19, 2021.
The NFCCC ad in this issue of Chow Life lists additional information on the All-Breed
AKC/Royal Canin Show.
We invite all Chow fanciers to join us during the week of December 14-19, 2021 in sunny,
warm Florida.
