We will be holding back to back designated Specialties in 2018 in conjunction with the Covered Bridge Cluster in Albany,
OR. Dates for the specialties are February 24 & 25, 2018. We are offering extra special rosettes next year as well as
wonderful trophies. Judges have not yet been selected by the 2 all breed clubs. This Cluster always offers a nice venue
(all inside), lots of parking, lots of RV parking, plenty of hotels close by (2 of them are adjacent to the show site). There is
NOHS competition, Best Bred-By, Beginner Puppy, and much more! Superintendent is Onofrio. www.onofrio.com

On September 24th, Ruth & Scott Gordon are again allowing us to use the grounds at Delmyra Kennels for our annual
Fun Day. We will have lots of activities including a match; agility; fun classes; games; food; and photos. Everyone enjoys a
lighthearted day of socializing both the dogs and the humans before we focus on our Specialty in November.
Instead of cooking a big Thanksgiving meal, come join us for our Specialty which will be held on Sunday, November
26th as part of the Thanksgiving Cluster in West Springfield, MA. We are pleased to have Dr. John V. Ioia judging the
Breed Classes and Richard Grant judging the Puppy & Veteran with trophies featuring original artwork by Kip Kopatch.
Hospitality bags and a continental breakfast will be provided in the grooming area on Sunday morning.
To start out the week-end, we have a supported entry in conjunction with Windham Co. KC on Saturday, November
25th with Mr. Juan L. Martinez judging. Then come join us Saturday evening for our banquet & auction at Storrowtown
Tavern on the Eastern States Exposition grounds. Contact Linda Gardiner at lindagredchow@hotmail.com for more
information and to RSVP. If you have Chow or dog related items which are looking to be placed in a new home, we
would love to find forever homes for them at our auction in which a portion of the proceeds will go to Chow Rescue. To
donate items for the auction, contact Linda Gardiner at lindagredchow@hotmail.com.
MB-F, Inc., www.infodog.com, is the Superintendent for the Cluster with entries closing on Wednesday,
November 8th.
