tended the CHF Conference in St. Louis, MO. An

Historian (Bambi Walden): Report submitted
Members Education: (Dan Strachan): Report Sub-
mitted. 2 webinars are done on the chow illustrated
standard and were well received. Dan received good
feedback. Dan is hoping to have a webinar possible
quarterly. The next being The Rights and Responsi-
bility as an Exhibitor.
Judges Education: (Mary Wuest): No Report
submitted. MOTION: Banghart/Williams to accept
Mary Wuest as Judges Education Chairperson for
another 2 years. For: Clapp, Albert, Howell, Bang-
hart, DiCorleto, Strachan, Williams, Ireland, Stone,
Young, Klein, Leonzio and Smart. Against; None.

Companion Events: (Kathy Sylvia): Report Submit-
ted. Kathy is noticing more chows in Fast Cat.
Legal: (Cathy Clapp): Report submitted.
Regional Club Liaison: (Lisa Leonzio): Report sub-
mitted. The Middle Tennessee Club is dissolved. We
have 13 regional clubs.
Ways and Means: (Amy Young): Amy is going to
offer the deck of cards again. The calendars was
extremely well received this year. Amy is working on Corleto, Strachan, Williams, Ireland, Stone, Young,
the chairs again. For those that already have chairs
she will be looking how to make another chair back
with the new logo, other ideas are being looked into. New Business:
Publicity: (Love Banghart): Report submitted. All
of the AKC Gazette articles have been submitted.
The Website is getting close to going live.
Club Publication: (Carol Ann Klein): Report sub-
mitted. Carol Ann would like to have clarification on
the Chow Life discounts. 20% discount on first total,
then second 20% discount would be from the sub-
total of sale. MOTION: Young/Stone that the Chow
Life editor calculates the discount as first percentage
from the total and the second percentage taken from
the discounted subtotal and the coupons for wins
taken from that subtotal. For: Clapp, Albert, Howell,
Banghart, DiCorleto, Strachan, Williams, Ireland,
Stone, Young, Leonzio and Smart. Against; None

can address the members in a state where they may
wish to help with. Dan wrote an article for Chow Life
on legislature issues and is working on an Education-
al seminar at the 2020 National.
Membership/Welcome Committee: (Rhonda
Prince): Report submitted. David mentioned that we
have a new procedure to accept the applicants based
on our newly approved By-Laws and we need to get
this out to the membership. David will work with
Brenda.
Show Manual: (Carol Ann Klein): Report submit-
ted. Carol is working on the wording to clarify for
the new Judges Selection. Carol will submit another
report with changes as needed for clarity at the next
teleconference meeting.
Welfare Committee: MOTION: Albert/Smart:
to appoint JoAnne Lesko the Welfare Committee
Chairperson starting January 01, 2020. For: Clapp,
Albert, Howell, Banghart, DiCorleto, Strachan,
Williams, Ireland, Stone, Young, Klein, Leonzio and
Smart. Against; None.

Standard Breed Review: (Kurt Williams): Re-
port submitted. Kurt sent the wording to the AKC.
Should be printed in the Secretary’s Page of the No-
vember Gazette for comments and maybe sent to the
membership by January/February of 2020.
Junior Showmanship: (Sue Brough): Report sub-
mitted. We need to promote this scholarship through
the website, Facebook, Chow Life.

about the Bulldogs which has Specialty districts.
