Happy Holidays to all my fellow chow chow
fanciers! I hope that 2016 has been a fantastic Holidays
year for you all; I know it was for me! I spent
the year traveling to Italy mostly. One of my
trips, I attended the “Associazione Nazionale
Italiana Chow Chow” specialty show that
is held every year in Volta Mantovana,
Italy. There were 196 entries, with many
“WOW” chows!! I spent the entire day with
my favorite chow mentors, Luis and Angela
Arenas Lopez, just learning from them and
enjoying! What can get better than a chow
specialty show in Italy?? Nothing, in my
opinion. I highly recommend attending!
Going into 2017, I hope to finish my other
two chows (Stella and Zorro) in the show
ring and I am contemplating having the first
litter of “Mozzafiato” chow puppies, sired by
Benito. “Mozzafiato” is one of my favorite
Italian adjectives that means “to take ones
breath away”. It was the most inspiring word
I could think of to start building my own
“brand” in the world of chows!
