Junior Showmanship Committee Report:

                The STIPEND was a valuable part of the JUNIOR HANDLER SCHOLARSHIP FUND
                when the program was established and approved by the Board even though funds were
                not yet available.  However, generous donations have now made it possible to start
                recognizing the needs of our young Juniors coming up through the ranks. CCCI wishes
                to support and encourage our youth.
                There are now several Show opportunities just for Juniors to compete, interact, and
                learn from Instructors and Junior handlers their own age.  However, these shows such
                as Westminster, Orlando and special Junior Completion shows are expensive and may
                put a strain on family budgets.  On page 38 is the application for the funds through
                the Stipend program which will make it more possible for Juniors to take advantage of
                what these shows can offer them as they advance in the sport of dogs.
