11. Alumni Affairs
Dr. Amie F. Peñalba, Director for Alumni Affairs presented the strategic plans of the
office. She shared the strengths and weaknesses of the office. Among the strategies
considered were:
▪ Leverage the power of the alumni network to help students secure jobs and
internships
▪ Utilize the social media to create excitement and communicate with alumni
▪ Strengthen connections and increase the involvement of alumni abroad in all
activities of the University
▪ Increase opportunities for alumni to return to campus to interact with the
students and each other
▪ Conduct of researches and related activities for the alumni
o Alumni data base
o Tracer studies
o Job fairs
