Section 1 BROADBAND INSTALLATION (FIXED WIRELESS SYSTEMS) NC II
QUALIFICATION

The Broadband Installation (Fixed Wireless Systems) NC II Qualification consists
of competencies that a person must possess to install mast and accessories, lay out
and install CAT5e cables and configure CPE as well as to render service excellence to
customers.

This Qualification is packaged from the proposed competency map of the ICT Industry
(Service Sector) shown in Annex A.

The units of competency comprising this qualification include the following:

A person who has achieved this Qualification is competent to be a:

 Fixed Wireless Broadband Installer

Note: Some employers may require their broadband installers to hold driver’s licenses.
