39. Plagiarism (copying, lifting, stealing, illegal use, breach
of copyright)

▪ Graduating student of the University
The student will not be allowed to graduate

▪ Graduates of the University
(Items/ sections/ chapters copied from other
materials without proper literature citation
contained in the submitted manuscript before
graduation but were found only after graduation
and offense was proven by proper authority)

Sanction to be determined by the Office of Alumni Affairs

40. Fabrication of data
▪ For thesis/ case study/field study/entrepreneurial
report/ narrative report/ dissertation

First Offense - Reprimand and will be required to
perform the study/ experiment again;
and the authenticity of data collected
will be reviewed.
Subsequent Offense- Exclusion for not less than
one Semester

▪ When done on any official document or document
issued by a Person in Authority
First Offense -Exclusion for not more than one
semester
Subsequent - Exclusion for not less than one
