CVSU RESEARCH AND EXTENSION AGENDA
(Five Thematic Areas)

The formulation of the Research and Extension agenda considered the priorities of the

University in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Department
of Science and Technology Harmonized National R&D Agenda, Commission on Higher
Education National Higher Education Research Agenda, and National Economic Development

Plan.

The following are the Five Thematic Areas of Research and Extension of the
University:

• Agri-fisheries and Food Security
• Biodiversity and Environmental Conservation

• Smart Engineering, ICT and Industrial Competitiveness
• Societal Development and Equality

• Public Health and Welfare

The current extension program of Cavite State University – Trece Martires City

Campus which the TMK sa TMC (Tulong sa Mamamayan ng Komunidad sa Trece Marites

City) focuses on the 4 from the five thematic areas of CvSU Research and Extension
Agenda which is the Societal Development and Equality.
