 CPREPARATION GUIDE
                  The most effective
             reference tool for determine concrete
surfaces profile is the molded rubber comparator chips,
available from the international Concrete Repair Institute. These
samples replicate nine grades of surface roughness and are designed for
direct visual and tactile comparison to the concrete surface in ques-
tion. There is no definitive text description for the nine grades.

       CSP 4 - CSP 6 A scarifier consists
               of rows of toothed
               washers assembled
               on steel rods that are
               mounted to a rotating
               steel drum. As the
drum spins, the wash- CSP 1 - CSP 3

not really designed for removing the
concrete sur-face itself, a CSP number
is not relevant to their action.
