“Southwest Fest” Welcome Reception
at La Hacienda Plaza
•Welcome to an adventurous exploration of the Sonoran Southwest capturing the vibrant culture and history of our destination.
•Three cultures will be represented throughout the event space. From the intimate southwest print seating nooks that provide space to connect
with friends and colleagues to the indigenous entertainment vignettes that guests can discover and take in the adventure and history of the 48th state to join the union all will feel a sense of comfort and arrival. Welcome to our unique and colorful desert way of life.
•Guests will be greeted with a modern female mariachi band and Mexican folkloric dancers. Once they step in, Prickly Pear Margaritas will delight their taste buds.
•A tantalizing array of Southwestern favorites, from empanadas to ceviche and custom street tacos will have guests lining up at the interactive stations.
•Guests can enjoy refreshing libations from the open bar, while watching the glowing sunset in the background
•Vibrantly-colored décor, modern tee pee structures, and linens enhance the ambiance of the evening •Entertainment will include vignettes from different
cultural elements, games, and interactive entertainment options such as pot belly pig races to keep everyone involved throughout the reception.
•As a finale to the evening, a trick roper show with fire elements excites guests and prepares them for a sizzling program.

EVENING ACTIVITIES
“Upscale Americana”
Off Property Event
•Our event will begin before guests even leave the resort - Police escort will swoop everyone to the venue for a VIP transfer experience.
•Party goers will arrive at our desert location in time for Arizona’s momentous sunset. As they walk down the lantern lit path they will be greeted with a modern take on the Tequila Sunrise.
•Throughout the one-hour cocktail reception guests can mill around and enjoy vintage food stations, interactive tequila tasting and tethered hot air balloon.
•As the sun sets our event will come to life with lighting strategically placed throughout the desert landscape creating depth and enhancing the natural beauty of the blooming wild flowers, state tree and gorgeous barn backdrop.
•Décor will be escalated, evoking a sophisticated yet relaxed Americana vibe with tones or red, white and blue throughout the event space. Pops of red hounds tooth and elegant chandeliers will create a flow throughout the exterior and interior spaces.
•The menu will also show a heightened level of creativity with touches of Southwest spices mixed into every American classic and comfort food.
•After dinner, guests will be able to view constellations and take pictures on their phone of what they saw in the telescope. Our dynamic astronomer will guide guests
on an overview of the night sky, turning everyone into astronomy fanatics.
•Craft cocktails will be paired with delectable desserts including liquor infused s’mores and apple pie bites to round out our All American evening.
