Engineering Directors (or equivalent) must ensure that the overhaul process and final testing is developed
and overseen by a competent engineer or staff.

        8.0 Manufacture of Parts Internally

Group Companies must ensure that where they manufacture parts there are suitable and sufficient
processes in place to assure the final product, this may include, but is not limited to:

An assessment and decision on the cost effectiveness of manufacturing against purchasing the part
           elsewhere.
A specification that covers raw materials, manufacture, critical dimensions and/or test performances.
A list of required calibrated tools and any test rigging required
A suitable packaging and transport process
A suitable assessment of parts produced against original specification or pattern (sample checks)

Engineering Directors (or equivalent) must ensure that the manufacturing process and final testing is
developed and overseen by a competent engineer or staff.

        9.0 Oils, Lubricants & Coolant

Group Companies must ensure that oils, lubricants and coolant used on all company vehicles are at least
to the specification of the OEM. Where different lubricant requirements exist in a mixed fleet (by age or
type) Group Companies must ensure there is a robust control process to ensure the correct lubricant is
used in the right vehicle, and for the correct application.

Group Companies must develop a documented list of all of the vehicle types in their fleet that details the
type of lubricant for each application that must be used, and the quantity.

        10.0 Contract Maintenance

Each Group Company must ensure that any contractors use OEM or approved parts.

11.0 Investigation of Safety Critical Parts Failures

Each Group Company must ensure that, where parts that are deemed to be safety critical fail, there is a
policy in place to investigate and determine root cause. Where necessary processes for sourcing and
assessment of parts should be reviewed and updated to ensure there are no further failures for the same
        reason.
