TECH Overview
The TECH ZERO, operates under a zero oxygen environment. This allows for the vaporization, condensing, and recovery of petroleum products and other mate- rials previously entrapped in the contaminated solids. It is a “batch” technology with the ability to scale up for very large projects. The TECH ZERO combines all of the top characteristics of our previous designs into one simple, eld capable system.
TECH History
Originally developed for treating drilling muds, the TECH ZERO has demonstrat- ed ability in treating complicated contaminants such as Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) waste, chlorinated compounds, and pesticides. The infrared (sister ver- sion of this design) has been successfully treating contaminated materials since the mid 1990’s.
TECH Description
The TECH ZERO is simple, with very few moving parts. Each TECH ZERO sys- tem utilizes up to 14 inter-connecting thermal bins in line. The individual thermal “bins” are liquid-tight and allow for the treatment of extremely wet materials. Once the materials are thermally treated, they are completely dry and can be utilized as back ll. A gas burner feeds heating air into the core of each bin, indi- rectly heating the all the bins at once. Once the treatment is complete, the bins are rolled out (on tracks) and emptied with a forklift.
