Below, are a number of examples of how Iron Creek’s technologies are being utilized in some of the most extreme locations around the world.
British Columbia, Canada Iron Creek has recently completed a 23,000 tonne thermal remediation project in Northeastern B.C., Canada. Hydrocarbon impacted soil from legacy oil & gas operations was treated to below B.C. CSR Wildland Standards. Post-treatment con rmatory analysis veri ed that all samples tested had results below the regulatory closure criteria.
Yukon, Canada Iron Creek’s team performed the thermal remediation of approximately 2,000 tonnes of diesel contaminated soil in the remote Yukon. As the site could only be accessed via air, Iron Creek’s thermal equipment was modi ed to  t within the size and weight restrictions of a deHavil- land Twin Otter aircraft. The entire project, including equipment mob & demo, was successfully comple- ted within a 45-day window and all con rmatory results were below regulatory criteria.
McMurdo Station, Antarctica Since 2004, our Infrared Technology has been utilized by the National Science Foundation in Antarctica. This technology has proven itself capable of operating in this extreme environment of cold and wind for over a decade, successfully treating petro- leum spills from areas around McMurdo Station.
Fixed Treatment Facilities In addition to remote cleanups, the ETC Technology has also processed hundreds of thousands of tonnes of soil at  xed treatment facilities. The robust design of the ETC is well-suited for handling mixed wastes and soils with rocks and debris. The ETC does not require soil screening or preprocessing - eliminating the production of “reject” materials.
Remote, Australia Since 2001, Iron Creek’s ETC Technology has been utilized in Austra- lia for the cleanup of more than 100,000 tonnes of soil. Treated wastes include a broad range of petro- leum hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs).
