Pribilof Islands, Alaska The ETC Technology was chosen by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to clean up historical waste on St. Paul, Island and St. George, Island in Alaska. The Pribilof Islands host the largest gathering of marine mammals in the world and the extreme ocean cli s support the largest seabird colony in the Northern Hemisphere.
Remote, AlaskaThe ETC Technology has been utilized extensively throughout the remo- te terrain of Alaska. Every project undertaken with this technology in Alaska has achieved the State of Alaska’s soil cleanup standards of <50 ppm GRO, <100 ppm DRO, <2000 ppm RRO. Projects have been completed in Nome, Kotzebue, Coldfoot, Coal Creek, Eagle, Kenai, Nikiski, Kodiak, Juneau & Prudhoe Bay.
Indianapolis, IndianaIron Creek’s M1-12 Infrared Units successfully treated chlorina- ted pesticides (Aldrin & Dieldrin) to below 2 parts per billion. This cleanup as was performed under the supervision of the U.S. EPA. On grid power, the M1-12’s are silent and thermal treatment operations are able to run 24 hours per day - even within city neighborhoods.
Scotland, U.K. The exible design of the infrared treatment system allows for the thermal treatment of soils and sludges that have extremely high concentrations of hydrocarbons and water. The Infrared process has the ability to operate without ame and under vacuum which allows for the reco- very of oil and other materials.
Northern Israel In order to provide one of Israel’s largest re neries with the ability to test the Infrared, a unique, purpose-built thermal unit was designed and deployed. This unit was able to prove the capability of Iron Creek’s Infrared design on the most di cult oil re nery sludges.
