Our Featured Friday Artist An ardent music lover, Atanu Ghosh (also known
as Bappaditya) began his musical journey under
the guidance of his mother. Later as an engineering
student at Jadavpur University, he connected with
like minded people and, they moved on to form
their band DRISHTI which went on to compose
some very meaningful music and perform at
various events across the city. They finally released
their album Drishti in 2012. This was followed by
his solo album in 2013. He has performed in
various cultural and social events in India and
abroad. He has done playback vocals for various TV
serials and has also performed in various
prestigious events in Kolkata.
Sanchari Bose

Sanchari made her name to fame for the first
time in Zee Tv’s ‘SaReGaMaPa Children’s
Special’ where she won 7 episodes in a row.
She also starred in SAREGAMAPA Challenge
2005. She was part of Star Voice of India 2007
where she left the judges speechless by her
spectacular performances. Sanchari was
entitled “Rockstar” where she won the
competition organized by famous Indian rock
band AGNEE. She also participated in the
famous music reality show BOL BABY BOL,
hosted by Adnan Sami.
Achievements
• Sanchari earned National Scholarship in Indian Classical Music for more than 10 years.
• She was admired with Lata Mangeshkar Award by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in the
year 2000.
• SangamKala Group of Delhi presented her Master Madan Award.
• She also won the prestigious State Embassy Award given by School of Millennium, Rajasthan.
• Has shared stage with celebrities like Shaan, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Adnam Sami, Mahalaxmi
Iyer, Anuradha Paudwal, Hansraj Hans, AGNEE and many more.
