Potential Implications (Short-Term and Long-Term): As a result of these changes, students should be
better prepared to demonstrate their mastery levels through the Keystone assessments and be equipped with
the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful after graduation. If we are utilizing the Pennsylvania
Value Added Assessment System (PVAAS) projected scores, we should be able to remediate students with
needs, prior to them taking an assessment and needing to enroll in supplemental instruction because of a non-
passing score.
