ELCOME

Welcome to Richland Elementary School! For those
of you who are returning to Richland, we are looking
forward to another fantastic school year. We would
also like to welcome our new students and
parents to our school. We are confident that you will
have a wonderful experience and be a part of our
Richland family. Richland is home to approximately
500 students in kindergarten through third
grade. Since Richland is the former high school, our
building features a full size gymnasium and
auditorium. Additionally, our spacious grounds
include a large playground area, nature trail,
basketball and tennis courts, and a full size track.
The most outstanding aspects of our school include
our teachers, staff, students, and parents. Our
teachers and staff are incredibly dedicated and work
extremely hard to meet the unique needs of each
and every student. Our parents are very
involved and continuously seek opportunities to support our school. The students at Richland are outstanding, and we
are proud of their achievements and their eagerness to learn.
At Richland Elementary School we strive each day to create a safe and challenging learning
environment. The mission of the Pine-Richland School District is to focus on learning for every student every
day. We are vested in providing our students with a strong academic foundation, and our vision is a picture
developed by a student that captures the mission and provides a vivid reminder of the challenge and opportunity of
our schools.

It is with great pride that I welcome you to our school. I believe the Pine-Richland reputation as a leader in quality
education begins at our primary schools.
