The PRHS Boys Volleyball Team advanced and played in two rounds of the WPIAL playoffs.

The PRHS Girls Volleyball Team played in the first round of the WPIAL Class AAA Girls Volleyball Championships.
Senior Bailey Baker was named to the All-Section First Team. Senior Lindsey Jacks and juniors Nicole
Kordenbrock and Emily Cottrill and Hannah Cottrill were named to the All-Section Second Team,
and senior Lacee Richwalls was named to the All-Section Third Team. Bailey and Emily were named to
the All-WPIAL Team. In addition, Emily made a verbal commitment to the University of Notre Dame.

Hunter is noted as becoming only the fourth wrestler
in school history to reach 100+ career wins with yet
another season to go, and is fourth all-time for most
pins in one season with 20 this season. Alex earned
second fastest pin in school history this season with
a seven-second pin.
The PRHS junior varsity and varsity teams hosted the
annual PR Wrestling Best Buddy Showcase. This year’s
program was hosted on Feb. 12, 2016. The JV/Varsity
wrestling team wrestles with students who are part
of the Best Buddies program once a week to teach
wrestling skills as well as team building and social
interaction skills throughout the year. The Best Buddies
then get to show their skills off by wrestling a member
of the team during the showcase.
