ISU is constantly subjecting its programs offerings to AACCUP accreditation. Continuous
                 accreditation of program offerings has spun improvements in the level of these programs. AACCUP
                 accreditation in 2020 resulted in 97 out of 109 accredited programs, 78 of which are programs in higher
                 education and14arein advancededucation.


                       The University has developed and implemented a well-organized faculty and support personnel
                 development program and activities. The University has always supported the continuing development
                 andcareer advancement ofthefaculty byfinancing their graduate studies.

                        TheUniversityishometo29RandDCenters. A totalof161&111researchesfortheyear2020&
                 2019respectively,werepublishedinthedifferentjournal,fundedthrough SB,37throughGAAandthrough
                 external agencies. ISU was identified among top research contributors in the fields of
                 Speech Synthesis, Image Processing, and Machine Learning researches based from
                 the data on “documents by affiliation” from the renowned Scopus, the largest abstract
                 and citation database for academic journal articles. The University is pinned on the

                 3 place on Speech Synthesis, 12 place on Image Processing, and 13 on Machine
                 Learning research. ISU is the only higher education institution from Northern Luzon

                 that made into the lists. Similarly, the University emerged on the 7 place among the
                 identified 10 institutions actively engaging in Deep Learning research in the country.
                       The ISU system is succeeding in its mission of extending through various modalities the use of
                 science and technology-based knowledge to a wide array of clientele. As proof of ISU’s outstanding
                 performance  in  extension services,  as  of  2020,  the  University  recorded   99
                 active    partnerships   with  LGUs,    industries  NGOs,    NGAs,     SMEs,    and
                 other stakeholders as a result of extension activities.
