umbrella programs as follows: a) Adopt A Barangay Volunteerism Program; b) LGU Extension Capability
Strengthening Program; and c) Gender and Development.
The College of Business, Accountancy and Public Administration in support to the University Extension
Services (UES) program in collaboration with Local Government Unit, Non-Governmental Organizations and
Private entities is indispensable in order to assure timely deliverance of project deliverables to its clientele.
Resources are always limiting and therefore the need to focus, streamline and prioritize. Extension services
should always take cognizant of the most prevalent and serious problem of clients and address it head on. The
need of the poor people must always be put forward for action first before other concerns.
LGU STRENGTHENING
Faculty members of the Entrep Department are engage in extension activities of the University. Ms. Vivian
Dumrique has been designated as Project Leader of the extension titled “Enhancing Livelihood of Cacao
Farmers Community through Extension and Training Activities: Plantation, Production and Processing for the
Active Soldiers, Retired Soldiers and Rebel Returnees”, and “Flavor of Change: Cacao Production and
Processing as Alternative Livelihood Enterprise for Selected 4Ps Beneficiaries of the Adopt-a-Barangay of ISU
Echague Campus.
Faculty and students of the department are being tapped for the implementation of the said
extension programs.
