              The  community,  especially  the  adopted  ones,  served  as  a  social  laboratory  for  students.  As  such,  it  provides  an
        opportunity for students to immerse in the real-life scenario thereby making learning more authentic, relevant and concrete.







        7.1 AWARDS OF DISTINCTION AND ACHIEVEMENT AND GRANTS OF THE PROGRAM “BEST PRACTICES” ADOPTED

              Extension services are provided by the college and/or program in response to the needs and urgent concerns of the
        community  it  serves.  Likewise,  it  takes  into  consideration  local,  regional  and  national  developments  thrusts.  The  services
        extended are in consonance with the institution’s vision, mission, goals and objectives.


              The extension program is provided with a definite budget to ensure its sustainability. Funds as well as material and service
        inputs from the institution or from other agencies, were solicited and utilized in the implementation of the viable extension program


               3.  BEST PRACTICES

                     Extension services are provided by the college and/or program in response to the needs and urgent concerns of the community it serves.
               Likewise, it takes into consideration local, regional, and national development thrusts. The services extended are in consonance with the
               institution’s vision, mission, goals, and objectives.


                     A harmonious and collaborative program-community relationship is a major factor in the life of an extension program. The
              community is invited to participate in the planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of activities, as well as sourcing of unds
              and other resources. Cooperation and responsiveness is evident among the college’s extension clientele. Moreover, the  students
              were also actively involved in identifying the extension activity from the initial phase down to the last part of the project. The project
              recipients have recognized the college as their active partner towards development in all facets of capacity and capability building
              enhancement which is a good indicator that the college was able to provide a meaningful outcomes.
