Involvement) during the 3 Survey in terms of;

Strengths

1. The Extension Agenda of the College is aligned with the University’s development thrusts.
2. The university officials are supportive and regularly allocate budget for extension programs and projects.
3. The university has an available pool of experts in various fields of specialization to support extension activities.
4. The university has strong linkages with government organizations and non-government organizations and other line agencies.
5. The university has institutionalized programs responsive to the demands and needs of the communities.

Areas Needing Improvement

1. There were no re-planning of activities after the conduct of extension activities.
2. There are no documents to prove that the clientele has utilized the skills learned from the extension activities.
3. Extension activities are not research-based.
4. Few stakeholders participated in the planning and implementing of activities
5. Inadequate facilities for effective monitoring & evaluation

Recommendations

1. The College should conduct extension activities that complement their curricular offerings
2. Linkages, partnership, and collaboration should be complete and updated for ready reference
3. Documents as proofs of successful extension activities should be complete and updated for ready reference
4. Feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of the activity may be utilized in the re- planning of activities
5. Accomplishment and terminal reports for all activities completed have to be submitted on time and filed properly for future
reference
6. The Administration may endeavor to initiate sourcing out of funds to sustain its projects and generate service inputs from
other agencies
7. Documents about the results evaluation of the clientele’s learned skills from the extension activities have to be immediately
submitted. Evaluation results may be used for possible enhancement of the extension project.
8. It is recommended that all extension activities be research-based.
9. Stakeholders from all sectors may be encouraged to be involved in extension activities.
10. Capability building-workshop, training, or seminar on the preparation and implementation of operational plan for all the
extension activities may be conducted. The Operational Plans may include success indicators as guide to the conduct of
extension work.
