One of the most rewarding aspects of being a teacher has been watching you
grow over the course of the year. You all have blossomed into young scholars;
and I am so proud of you all. Letters and sounds soon become words that
invited you into the world of reading and writing, giving your strong voices to
express yourselves. You grew as individuals too, exploring your independence
and what it means to be a kind and caring student, classmate and friend. As you
venture off, I hope that you will take what you have learned at the Harbour, and
apply it towards your schoolwork, your friendships, and any other situations
that you may encounter.
