NIGERIAN PEOPLE

I commit to giving life to my vision of a
united, productive and people centered
9th senate that is dedicated to the ser-
vice of the Nigerian people. To achieve
this, we shall improve on our processes
and harness technology to increase our
effectiveness and efficiency.

By optimizing the synergy between the
senate and executive arm of Govern-
ment, the senate, under my leadership,
will jealously guard its independence
while diligently playing its part in ensur-
ing that the task of national development
moves forward with the required urgen-
cy. In the laws we enact, in the oversight
SENATOR and representations we undertake, the
wellbeing of the Nigerian people will al-
ways be our priority.

As President of the Senate, I will take the
mandate given to me by my colleagues
as a privilege, an honour and a sacred
duty to my country.

I will discharge this duty with utmost hu-
mility and dedication.
