our lives sometimes to chasten us. Many in
the church were weak and sickly and dead
because of the way they were treating one
another. In Hebrews 12:6 it says, “For whom
the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth
every son whom he receiveth.”
Even in David's life through his sin there
was a baby that died. That came about
because of sin. In Acts chapter 5 a husband
and wife lied, and they both died. In John
chapter 5, verses 9 through 15 — especially
in verse 14 — there's a man that the Lord
told to “sin no more, lest a worse thing
come unto thee.” James 5, verse 15, says,
“And the prayer of faith shall save the sick,
and the Lord shall raise him up; and if” —
