commandments of men.” We see here
traditions of men versus the Word of God. So
when we just consider customs and traditions,
if people want a Christmas tree, fine. I'm not
offended by them. I could sit and eat lunch
beside one of them. It doesn't bother me at
all. But I'm simply saying it has nothing to do
with the birth of Jesus Christ, and I'd have to
ask the question, "Why am I putting this up?"
Now, what about gifts? I think the only
place in the Bible where people are
exchanging gifts is in the context of wicked
men celebrating the death of God's servants.
