said that Easter is not only a synonym for

Passover but also a descriptive word revealing

the New Testament fulfillment of Passover

in Christ's death, burial, and resurrection —

and I say Amen to that!

Let's go back to 200 years before

Constantine. Have we not heard that

Constantine invented Easter? Let's go back

200 years before Constantine reigned. Let's

go back before the Nicene Council and the

Nicene Creed of 325 AD. Let's go back a

few hundred years before that and consider

what we find in church history. Easter is not

a Catholic holiday. It was observed before

the Catholic Church was even conceived.
