A young man in our church had just got
married. I was preaching against the television.
I made the statement about killing your
television, and he went home, took his 12-
gauge pump shotgun, threw the television
out in the front yard and pumped shells into
it. His wife ran out screaming and hollering
at him. She didn't mind him killing the
television, but it wasn’t their television. They
had just gotten married and they had
borrowed it. So he had to pay for the
television. But he killed that thing. He shot
it all over the front yard. That's what needs
to be done. You cannot control it. If you've
got rabbit ears on it, if you're plugged into
the stations, the cable, the satellite, I
promise you, you will not be able to control
