positive note with joy and peace and the gift
of God.
Come with me now to chapter 5, verses
18 through 20. But first let me read you a
quote. I found this in my notes, and I hadn't
seen it in a number of years. This quote is
on joy, and the author said:
"If we focus on the gifts rather than on the
Giver, we're guilty of idolatry. If we accept
His gifts but complain about them, we're
guilty of ingratitude. If we hoard His gifts
and will not share them with others, we're
guilty of indulgence. But if we yield to His
