a purpose, and God is not a God who does
not want you to be happy and enjoy life and
have peace in your heart. We need to
understand that. Now, there are adversities;
there is prosperity; there is life; there is
death. There are all of these things in life,
and yet if we live in perspective with the
Lord, then we can enjoy things of this life.
Notice in verse 9: “And moreover, because
the preacher was wise, he still taught the
people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed,
and sought out, and set in order many
proverbs.” In these verses Solomon is
confirming that his writings are from the
Lord and that they're upright and true. He's
trying to say, "What I'm telling you is the
