Defiling The Mind

Now, turn with me, please, to Galatians

chapter 1, and while you're turning there, I'm

going to give you a number six, “Defiling the

Mind,” 2 Corinthians 10, verses 3 through 5,

filling our minds with unrealistic garbage. Kids

know all about these superheroes today and

know nothing about the Lord and His disciples

and missionaries and the apostles and the Old

Testament saints. One writer said this: “One

denominator that the greatest number of

superheroes and heroes of myths share is

physical strength. Several superheroes resemble

certain mythological heroes in terms of

superhuman ability.” A lot of these are based

on mythology of years gone by, and they drag

these into our society and create these heroes.
