Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed

with fire and brimstone because of the sin

of sodomy. Now, there were other sins that

led up to their destruction, which is what

we're talking about this morning. They did

not retain God in their knowledge. Ezekiel

16, verses 48 through 50, speak of Sodom

and their pride, their fullness of bread, their

abundance of idleness, and they did not

strengthen the hand of the poor and needy,

and they were haughty and committed

abominations. Verse 50 says, “therefore I

took them away as I saw good.”
