kinds of things, and then the Lord came and
gave them an answer, and the Lord said, "This
battle is mine. This does not belong to you."
Twice He says that in the chapter. And then the
unreasonable thing that God did is that Israel
didn't even lift up a sword. They began marching
out with the song leaders in front singing unto
the Lord, and God caused an ambushment, and
the enemies killed each other, and all Israel had
to do is walk into the camps of these different
nations and tribes and pick up the spoil of their
enemies that was left there — a very unusual
way to win a battle where you don't even lift up
a sword to win the battle.
What about in the days of Noah? God had
him build an ark, saved eight people, a flood
upon the world that God started off. Kind of
unusual. We probably wouldn't have done it
