were originally created, so they were not

ashamed, but now after sin entered into the

world, man's heart is darkened and they were

ashamed. They were ashamed to even appear

in the presence of God. They hid from Him,

covered themselves because they knew that

something had changed; in other words, their

eyes had been opened but not to something

good.

Now, there are a number of places in the

Bible where we’ll find the issue of nakedness:

 Genesis 9, verses 20 through 24, the shame

of Noah’s nakedness after getting drunk;

 Habakkuk chapter 2 and verse 15 speaks of

looking on the nakedness of someone else;

 In Exodus chapter 20 and verse 26 the

priests had to be very careful of climbing

steps so that their nakedness not be seen.

The Lord actually gave them breeches to
