9y FS Terrier cross with a tongue mass. Images a and b are at the same anatomic level. Images d and e are further caudal and are ordered
from rostral to caudal. A smoothly margined ovoid lingual mass (a–c: arrow) compresses and displaces adjacent normal tongue
parenchyma (a–c: arrowheads). The right mandibular (d: arrow) and medial retropharyngeal (e: arrow) lymph nodes are markedly
enlarged, and contrast enhancement is nonuniform and reduced centrally, consistent with regional metastasis. Lingual biopsy revealed
melanoma, and lymph node aspirates confirmed regional metastasis.
